DESCRIPTION:1619 Flux: Art + Activism is excited to host community workshops to assist artist Bryan K Holden with a public art project that he is creating for the Russell Neighborhood. The artwork will represent education\, inspirations & aspirations\, and what the past can teach the future. The artwork will be created with keys from computer keyboards. To date\, there have been approximately 2\,200 keyboards donated by residents and companies from Louisville and the surrounding area. We welcome your help with removing the keys from the keyboards and organizing them\, as well as sharing your ideas that will help the artist create the artwork. Please come and be part of this exciting and inspirational public art project that will be installed in the Russell Neighborhood this year. You will have the opportunity to meet and get to know new people\, share culture\, stories\, build relationships and have fun! All are welcome! \nLight Snacks Will Be Served.
