DESCRIPTION:The YMCA will be launching a new program called the “YES Initiative” (youth engagement in sports). Through this initiative\, we will be offering a free youth membership to 500 students 5th – 8th grade living in West Louisville\, in addition to a free Garmin Vivofit 4 activity tracker.  250 participants will be randomly selected in additional sports programming at the Republic Bank Foundation YMCA.  All students will be asked to complete a series of surveys regarding their healthy habits (physical activity and nutrition).
