Louisville Metro Housing Authority (LMHA) has some exciting news to share! On- and off-site Beecher Terrace replacement housing options are coming on-line. The first two phases of new housing at the redeveloped Beecher Terrace community will be ready for occupancy later this year. Also, some off-site replacement units are currently available.
All Original Beecher Terrace residents (lived at Beecher Terrace on or after June 28, 2016), who are in good standing with LMHA, are eligible for a Lifetime Preference to return to any Beecher Terrace replacement units, both on- and off-site. Packets will be mailed with important information on the reoccupancy process. These packets should be received by the first week in April. Included in the packet is a pre-application which, if completed and received by LMHA by the deadline of April 29, 2020, will be randomly sorted by a computerized lottery system and assigned a place on the Beecher Terrace Resident Waiting List. All others received after the deadline will be placed on the waiting list in order of the date and time received.
