This situation is becoming increasingly dire as Krogers Corporation abandons our urban core neighborhoods. What does the Prophet Nehemiah (5) have to say about the responsibility we Louisvillians have to ensure that everyone has access to farm-fresh\, nutritious food\, regardless of zip code? What does 2 Kings 4 and the miracle of the oil have to do with the collective economics of New Roots Fresh Stop Markets? What does the Torah say about the difference between charity and justice (tzedakah)?
