Archaeological work has temporarily stopped on the site, but will resume again in the next couple weeks. If you are interested in learning more about the recovery of buried objects or examining found artifacts, feel free to stop by the Beecher site between 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, once work resumes. Look for the pop-up tent and sign pictured below which is located between 9th and 10th streets on the fence around the excavation area.
